A poem from the mind of a nine-year-old child, that simply blew me away. I read this amazing poem and just had to illustrate the images that flew through my mind from one end to the other. It’s inspirational, occasionally shocking and above all a captivating read.

The woodland scene which forms the backdrop for the cover and final illustration was painted in watercolours some thirty years ago. All other images were painted digitally in AffinityPhoto with a Wacom Tablet.
