Illustrator’s Notes:
The artworks for ‘Terrance The Toad’ were created entirely digitally using the Affinity Photo/Designer Suite. The original artworks were created at 300dpi on a 8.5″ square ground.
Terrance is a Texas Great Plains Toad, and Timothy a Read-Eared Slider Turtle, both common to the State. All scenes are set in the Texas Hill Country, a very beautiful part of the world.
‘Terrance’ is my third foray into the world of digital creativity and I am finding the journey quite fascinating.

A Beautiful narrative poem written by author, LK Menzies. This children’s picture book is the story of Terrance, the homeless toad as he wanders through the Texas Hill Country seeking new friends and a place to call home. And in the end a poignant message for us all.
